Being more than just your wedding photographer


Wedding planning... sounds simple but ends up being more stressful than anticipated. Well hello, I'm Laken here to yes be your photographer, but also a friend through the wedding planning process. I'm here to answer questions, here to help plan the flow of your day, and here create the wedding photos of your dreams. I don't just show up to your wedding and take photos, we work together to find the perfect balance of candid moments and beautiful portraits three months before you say "I DO!" We work together to bring the life into those little moments like, first look, private vowels, and even those fun creative photos of the Bride before slipping into her dress. But don't worry, we don't plan everything... I love the natural flow of a wedding morning, and dancing the night away with your now hubby.

The guys hanging out, paying pool, listening to lord only knows what kind of music, and most likely enjoying a cold beer.

The wedding day is where I guide you on all those special moments we created beforehand, but letting you just simply enjoy one of the best days of your life. A girl with a camera, but also a girls girl that truly wants to be there for you on a day its nice to have that extra someone, making sure you eat and drink water.

The first step is to inquire through my website, then once you inquire, we’ll hop on a call (or grab coffee!) To talk about your vision, and what you want your wedding day to look like— what matters most to you, and how you want your day to feel. I’ll listen, guide, and help you bring your dream wedding to life.

Finalized Booking!

After we have chatted over the phone or in person, the next step is completing and signing my contract. This saves your date, and makes booking me as your wedding photographer official!

Iron Out The Details

Now to the fun part, planning and creating the wedding day you always dreamed of. The small details are what make your day so special. Whether it's giving each other notes before the ceremony, or the Brides first look with her Dad, moments like these during the day bring out raw emotion.

Creating A Timeline

Based on the hours you've booked with me to be your wedding photographer, we will build a timeline together, that covers all the details. The timeline I will create for you will ensure you get to enjoy your day without feeling rushed. My mission is to make sure you feel relaxed and calm.
